Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Upon arrival, you will meet your driver-guide for a safari briefing before beginning the scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park. The journey passes through beautiful countryside, tea plantations, and traditional villages. Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering Kibale Forest in search of chimpanzees. During the trek, you may also encounter red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and other forest species. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its birds, monkeys, and community tourism initiatives.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following breakfast, depart Kibale and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy spectacular views of crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains along the way. Arrive in time for relaxation and optional wildlife viewing around the lodge.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Begin the day with an early morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains where you may spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, hyenas, and numerous bird species. After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of Uganda’s best wildlife viewing experiences.
Day 5: Game Drive and Exploration of Queen Elizabeth National Park
Spend a full day exploring different sections of the park. Visit wildlife-rich areas and enjoy opportunities to spot elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators. The day provides a deeper safari experience beyond the main tourist circuits.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha Sector
Travel through the Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready as you search for these unique predators resting in fig trees. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today is the highlight of your safari. After a briefing from park rangers, venture into Bwindi Forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once located, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge after the trek for relaxation.
Day 8: Batwa Cultural Experience and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Visit the Batwa community and learn about their traditional forest lifestyle, music, dance, and survival skills. Later, continue to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most scenic lakes surrounded by terraced hills and numerous islands.
Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Evening Game Drive
After breakfast, depart Lake Bunyonyi and travel to Lake Mburo National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy an evening game drive searching for zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, and other wildlife species.
Day 10: Walking Safari and Return to Entebbe
Begin the morning with a guided walking safari, offering a unique opportunity to explore the park on foot while observing wildlife from close range. After breakfast, start the journey back to Entebbe with a stop at the Equator for photographs and souvenir shopping before being dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
